Color Me Mine

I got to go to my cousin's birthday party last Saturday. We went to Color Me Mine (a ceramic art studio). Here are some pictures of my artwork. I did the sprinkles purple, blue, and green to match my room.

Dinner at Grandpa's

We took dinner to Grandpa Smith's house today. It was fun to talk and just to hang out with our family. Here are some pictures at dinner.

Here I come

At gymnastic on Monday my teacher gave me this paper. It was telling me that I had passed into the next level-level 3. I am excited to get in and learn the new things that this level will teach.

Helping hands

One of my Young Women leader's is going to Ghana for a collage class. She can take up to 50 pounds of her personal stuff and 50 pounds of things to give to the orphan there. I helped by making some of the the baby burp cloths for the mothers there. It was fun to sew and I can help the people that don't have as much as us here in the U.S.

New Books

I went to a book store yesterday. Here are the books that I ended up getting. The dictionary is for next year when I take Spanish, and the other one is just for a fun book to read.

Jump On It

I got to go to Jump On It with my Beehive Group yesterday. It was my first time going. Being with 14 other girls made it even more fun. You could jump with a lot of different people.

Piano Book

I got a new piano book called Jazz, Rags, and Blues by Martha Mier. I am excited to learn out of it. I started my first song Beach Buggy Boogie today at my lesson.

books

I have just finished the third book in a series and really enjoyed it. They are the secret series by Pseudonymous Bosch (I think that is a crazy name!). Book one is titled "The Name of This Book is Secret". Book two is titled "If You Are Reading This, it's Too Late", and the third one is called "This Book is Not Good For You". The titles are funny just like the books. They are a quick and easy read. Also one more thing, the author talks to you the whole way through, he make funny comments!

Lettering

We learn how to do cool lettering in my Young Women's group last week. One of my favorite kind of lettering was in Hadley's name. I thought that you might want to look at it.

Gwen and Broc

I got to tend Gwen and Broc on Thursday. We had a fun time playing. One of the things we did was watched a Veggie Tales. I think that they liked it!

Snow

So today is April 30, and I woke up to like 3 inches of snow! I think that Utah weather is crazy. I wonder if it will end up snowing in May?

Gymnastics leotards

I am in gymnastics and we are going to do a competition so we got leotards. This is my first one ever. I am pretty happy and I really like the color that my level got. The video is me doing my cartwheel.

Texas Roadhouse

So Grandpa and Myrtle took us out to Texas Roadhouse for a Christmas dinner. It was very good. One of my favorite meat cuts was the prime rib. Mom, Dad, Lindsey, Daniel, Alan, and I all came with us.
